            Michael Waller acts writes and directs. Last year, Michael 

directed Sean Reycraft’s Roundabout for Theatre Direct, Eric Woolfe’s

Grendelmaus for Eldritch Theatre, Dave Carley’s Midnight Madness,

Othello for Shakespeare In The Rough, the bittergirl Collective’s

bittergirl (again) and performed in Adam Nashman’s Crimes. Upcoming,

Michael will be directing Much Ado About Nothing for Shakespeare In The

Rough and Assistant Directing Taming Of The Shrew at the Stratford

Festival.

            Other directing work includes Dave Carley’s Taking Liberties, Walking

On Water and A View From The Roof (Chalmers Award nominee), Eric

Woolfe’s Sideshow Of The Damned,  Lorne Elliot’s Culture Shock (Theatre

On The Grand), L.C. Carson’s Suffragette Koans and Sean Reycraft’s

Popsong (Chalmers Award Winner).

             Acting work includes Robin Fulford’s Steel Kiss, Dave Carley’s Into, The Urban Donnelies (Theatre Passe Muraille collective) and many,

many CBC Radio plays, most recently as Gordon Pinsent’s son in the

series, Test Drive.

             Michael has written three C.B.C. radio plays, is a recipient of the Ken

Macdougall Award for Most Promising Director and a graduate of the

Acting program at Carnegie Mellon University.
